Choosangyeon
Photographer Cho Sangyeon has spent more than 20 years capturing portraits that reveal the stories behind each individual's expressions and character. As the principal photographer of PORTRAITS KOREA, he captures the individuality of CEOs, executives, and corporate professionals while considering the values of the organizations they represent.
Every portrait session begins with understanding the person before they step in front of the camera. Through thoughtful conversations about their work and the message they wish to convey, he establishes a clear creative direction. He carefully refines expressions, posture, wardrobe, and lighting, guiding each subject to feel comfortable and express themselves naturally.
He holds a master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Hongik University and has presented his photographic work in two solo exhibitions and three group exhibitions. Combining extensive professional experience with an artistic perspective, he creates purposeful imagery ranging from formal executive portraits to photographs that communicate the stories of organizations and their people.
At the heart of Cho Sangyeon's photography is a commitment to capturing each individual's credibility, dignity, and distinctive presence. For leaders, he creates portraits that reflect their leadership philosophy.
